Hi! These days, I’m usually so pressed for time, that I don’t bother to think about matching the outfits (I don’t think I ever really bothered to coordinate hehe) and it does feel like a pain! When I first launched my website, I had never intended to model my own items. I wanted to take the photos. My BFF was supposed to be my model, but the day we planned to shoot photos, I woke up, and she had gone to the beach with her boyfriend! So I ended up being in the photos. The rest is history. It’s just easier to use myself…cuz….I’m easiest to get hold of and I don’t run off to the beach without letting myself know :P
Hi! Thanks for buying my book! I don’t think I have any shortcuts or tricks. All I can really say is to keep practicing and keep trying new patterns that might be shorter/simpler. A lot of people write to me asking for video tutorials of my patterns, because they don’t like to or can’t read patterns, but I really think that learning how to read patterns is a part of learning to crochet, and you’ll be able to make so many more fun projects if you allow yourself to learn this part of the skill. It looks a lot like mumbo jumbo, but the abbreviations do make a lot of sense, and it’s just a matter of getting comfortable with it all. Sorry I don’t have anything more exciting to advise! Just keep at it! It will be worth it! :) xo
I can’t think of a specific project right now, but I am sure I can’t figure out a lot of things :P. I always think it’s helpful to SIMPLIFY though. How can I make a project as simple as possible? Often times, projects don’t turn out the way you planned, but still turn out really awesome. Being flexible with yourself is also important!
